The Sean Daniel Company (THE MUMMY franchise, THE WOLFMAN, DAZED AND CONFUSED, MALLRATS, TOMBSTONE) is looking for exceptional interns for a hands-on film development intensive. This is not your typical internship. While responsibilities do include phones, light errands, and general office duties we are looking for interns to become part of our SDC team. If you are interested in gaining assistant experience as well as understanding the development process then this is for you. Interns will be in the mix on development (reading, notes, lists, discussions, etc.) and encouraged to contribute and participate. Great opportunity to experience hands-on how films are developed both independently and within the studio system.
Current projects include on-going MUMMY franchise at Universal, launch of RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT franchise at Paramount, college comedy with College Humor, and much more. Interns should be able to work well under pressure, be passionate about films and storytelling, willing to dive in and invest the time reading projects and thinking about notes, have interest in working in development, be honest, mature, and trustworthy, and work with discretion. Prior experience of any kind in development is a plus. Our offices are in Studio City.
